Nick is the chairman of Complinet Group Ltd. His experience spans management, strategy and M&A activity with considerable experience in private equity and the venture community.
For the last year Nick has worked with a transatlantic portfolio to assist start-ups to grow and realize stakeholder value. Portfolio clients included Iris, of which he is on the board and with which he has been instrumental in creating a company with an annual revenue exceeding $200m.
Previously, Nick was CEO of Witness systems and continues to act as chairman & advisor to of a number of other technology companies, including early-stage players such as Distribution Technology: one of the fastest-growing and most profitable technology companies in the UK, which has been ranked in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100.
Nick holds an honors Bachelors degree in Economics from Portsmouth University
- Alan YarrowNon-executive director
Alan is Vice Chairman of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW), the investment bank of Dresdner Bank AG and a member of the Allianz Group. He joined Kleinwort's predecessor firm Grieveson Grant in 1972.
Alan was appointed to the FSA Practitioner Panel in 2004. Chairman of LIBA (London Investment Banking Association) and Vice President of the BBA (British Bankers Association). He is also a Member of the Take-over Panel and Board Member of the Securities Institute as well as Chairman of DrKW Ltd.
- Mike Tansey Non-executive director
A 25-year veteran of the content and technology industry, Tansey was Chief Executive of Jobson Medical Information LLC (JMI) and has previously held leadership posts at Thomson Scientific, ISI and BRS Information Technologies.
Mike's insight, customer focus and pioneering involvement in developments in electronic delivery complement the strengths of the Board and contribute to Complinet's ongoing success and vitality as market leader in the compliance sector internationally. In addition, given our compelling growth in the United States, Mike's understanding of this highly complex and regulated market serve the Board and the Company extremely well.
- Martin Young Non-executive director
Martin joined the board of Complinet in 1999 and served as first chairman of the company until 2002.
Martin qualified as a chartered accountant and spent 25 years at Heritable Bank becoming chief executive in 1997. In 2000 the bank was sold to Landsbanki Islands (the National Bank of Iceland) and Martin became non-executive deputy chairman in 2002.
Martin also serves as a non-executive director of other companies active in the fields of house building, television software and leasing.
- Sebastian McKinlay Non-executive director
Sebastian McKinlay is a founding partner based in the London office. Previously, he was a founder shareholder in two other mid-market private equity firms: Promethean Investments, where he was the managing director and listed the company on the London Stock Exchange, and August Equity.
He has invested across a broad range of sectors including technology, media, business services and consumer services.
- Stephen Findlay Non-executive director
Stephen Findlay joined Fidelity Equity Partners in 2007. Prior to this, Stephen was an investment manager at a European private equity fund focused on the middle market.
Previously, he worked in Andersen’s Strategy, Finance and Economic consulting group; Deutsche Bank’s M&A lead advisory team; and latterly within Deloitte’s Corporate Finance department.
